Junk Mail Folders:
By default when an email message gets filtered as spam or when it matches some Mail filters it will be bounced back to its sender.
Mail filtering allows you to selectively filter out mail
messages based on the contents of their headers. Such emails can either be
bounced back or they can be delivered to a Junk Mail folder, if you have this
option activated for your mailbox. In the case when messages are bounced back to
their sender, if a legitimate mail is rejected, the sender will be notified that
you have a reject filter that matches the message, and will be able to try to
contact you by other means (through another e-mail address or by telephone, for
example).
To be sure that you will not miss important messages you may wish to enable the
Junk Folder for your mailboxes. When you have Junk Folder enabled, messages
filtered as SPAM will be delivered to that folder instead of being bounced back
to the sender. All spam messages will be stored there and will be deleted after
7 days.
The easiest way to access the Junk Folder will be to use the Webmail program.
To enable the Junk Folder for a given mailbox, please follow these steps:
1. Log into your Webmail (http://yourserver.com/webmail)-> then Options
2. Click on E-mail Filters
3. In the Junk Folder section click on the Enable button as shown below.

Once you have Enabled the Junk Mail folder, now you need to
choose a spam level. For example, the most restrictive spam setting is
1/10. At this setting, Spam Assassin will move almost all emails/senders
that are not on your Whitelist to your Junk Mail folder.

To manage your Whitelist, there are 2 ways of doing this.
1. You can choose the Manage button (as shown below)
beside "Spam Assassin White and Black listing.
2. When a new email comes into your Junk Mail folder, you can view the
message and you will see the Add to Whitelist.
